Arsenic is brittle element, used with gallium in the manufacture of
semiconductors. It and its compounds are quite toxic; arsenic is the
classic poison. Arsenic is found in minerals such as arsenolite, and
arsenpyrite, from which it is obtained by heating in the absence of air.
